How Long Do I Have To File a Claim?
The Denver metro area including cities such as Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Loveland, Centennial, Golden, Littleton, Stapleton, and many more were hit very hard during several hail storms last year. Most insurance policies only allow their clients 1 year from the “date of loss” to file a claim. Once the claim is filed, our job is to assist the client and adjuster with their findings.
How Do I Deal With The Insurance Company?

Our specialized team is required to photograph any work to be completed that was not included in the adjuster’s original quote (Common items are ice and water shield, multiple layers of tear off, re-decking when code requires it, and permits if required by the local municipality). These findings will be generated into a report by our supplement team and sent to your insurance company to encourage them to pay for any additional items that were necessary, but not included in the original scope of work, for the completion of the restoration.
What Happens After the Job is Complete?
Once the work is completed, we send off the necessary paper work to have the insurance company release depreciation to the homeowner. Most insurance companies will most likely include your mortgage company on the first check. You’ll need to contact your mortgage company loss draft department or claims department. They will give you a list of items such as your scope, a certificate of completion or contractor W9 they will need in order to release the funds to you. Our supplementing team assists our clients with the necessary paper work to have your mortgage company endorse and return the check to you promptly.
